Role overview

As a Senior Associate in our Deal Intelligence practice, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and evaluating biopharma acquisition targets, licensing opportunities, and strategic partnerships. You'll leverage our proprietary analytics platform alongside deep industry networks to surface opportunities that others overlook. This role combines rigorous quantitative analysis with strategic thinking, making it ideal for professionals who thrive at the intersection of data science and life science business development.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead proprietary deal sourcing efforts using Tulevik's analytics platform, identifying undervalued and overlooked assets across therapeutic areas
  • Conduct comprehensive target evaluations including scientific due diligence, competitive landscape analysis, and financial modeling
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders including biotech executives, venture capitalists, and academic researchers
  • Prepare client-ready deliverables including investment memos, opportunity assessments, and strategic recommendations
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to refine deal sourcing methodologies and expand platform capabilities
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of the broader team

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of experience in life science deal sourcing, business development, or strategic consulting
  • Strong understanding of biopharma value chain from discovery through commercialization
  • Demonstrated experience with financial modeling and valuation methodologies in life sciences
  • Advanced degree in life sciences (PhD, PharmD) or MBA with life science focus preferred
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
  • Proficiency with data analytics tools and comfort working with large datasets
